Easter Weekend

some photos to recap my weekend away...

and since i've decided to stop documenting my life with actual photos i have stolen all of these from {weheartit}

This past weekend was the first time in a long time where I actually felt relaxed and rested. I indulged in steaks grilled by my fathers hand, a nap that lasted all day Friday, 2 bike rides around the lake with boy, grading papers, painting my new room and celebrating the greatest day in history exalting and worshiping Him.

Hope your Easter weekend was blessed.

A Dallas Weekend

Welcome to my life. I have two actually. One in Austin, the other in Dallas. Monday through Friday I am devoted to 12 year olds in Austin and on the weekends I am devoted to...planning my best friends wedding..well among other things. :)

I headed to Dallas last weekend to watch a disappointing Aggie Bowl Game against LSU. Honestly the Ags had no chance at stealing that bowl title because
A.  They were doing so well at the beginning so of course they eff it up. They cant ever just play well the entire game  AND
B. The SEC is just so GOOD.

We had a good time nonetheless and bolted around McKinney afterward like we owned the place.

I head to Dallas again this weekend to visit my second life for the extended holiday weekend.
iexcite.
MLK you rock (and thanks for the day off)

Cowboys

Last weekend I went to my very first Cowboys game.
The fan that I am, you'd figure I would have made it out to a game at least once in my 24 years.
However, It wasn't my first time to the stadium- saw Paul McCartney there last year-
but it was still an experience.

They played my favorite team (sarcasm),The Eagles, and lost but it was still worth it.
To be in the same room with Miles Austin was excitement enough!

Plus I got to sit next to this cute boy:)
