New love of my life

You know what else Im really in to?

Cheese Fries.

I cant get enough. Last night I dreamt about eating cheese fries.
I have written a little note to my current and long term love, the cheeseburger.

Dear Cheeseburgers,
I know it was love at first taste between us.
You are one I look forward to seeing everyday.
I miss you during days apart.
You know I will always love you
but
If I were you I'd watch out.
You might quickly be replaced by these
cheesy
 melt in your mouth
 pretty please
 with bacon on top
pommes frites

In order to stay number one on my list..try adding bacon to your party. It might help.

Aggie Night at Dell Diamond

Last Friday the girls and I went to the Dell Diamond to watch baseball. I cant tell you how badly I want to be a baseball fan.
I try.
Really hard
But baseball is so long and drawn out and not AS exciting as the others. Nonetheless, I will continue to try to love it. Until then Ill pose as one.

I have a secret.
I may or may not have eaten a hot dog AND a cheeseburger in the same sitting.
Don't tell. ok?

PS- Roach Update:
I have two videos documenting the dilemma but my computer and I have been fighting lately. It doesn't want to do what I say. Therefore videos will have to wait until Im more patient or the computer apologizes.
Whichever comes first

Mission to Egypt

In the morning my dear friend CJ will head to Egypt for two weeks on a mission trip. Im so stinkin' excited for her! I cant wait to hear about!
(daily cards with encouraging verses we made for her)

Im asking you for your prayers.
Pray mainly for her safety. Having been to Egypt myself it can be a pretty scary place seeing as how it is so different from what we are used to. Then add in sharing Christ with Muslims through an underground church..things start getting a little bit more terrifying.

But before she heads out we are all going to the Round Rock Express baseball game to soak in a classic summer night spent with good friends, baseball and cheeseburgers! Holla! expect a twit pic on that one.

Happy Friday,
enjoy your summer night

la Gentleman + Burgers

"La Gentleman" took me for burgers last night. It was SO tasty. Probably my favorite burger this far....but I say that everytime. I usually dont put mayonaise on my burgers but this time I kept the burger as is, and I was pleasantly surprised. I should do that more often.
Then we went to celebrate "La roommate's" (who is angry her nickname is only la roommate) 24th birthday! I put her present in a Jonas Brother bag.

Did I mention "la gentleman" is also "la funny"?
the people at the party thought so too

Oh yeah...Brother has a girlfriend. Weird. The last time he liked a girl enough to make her is girlfriend, I was in high school, and so was he. She must be somethin'-Can't WAIT to meet her!

Terrible, horrible, no good, very bad, teacher

I have a confession. I have been a
terrible. horrible. no good. VERY bad. teacher lately.

(picture taken for brothers project, post about that soon to follow)

I am exhausted.
I have been coming in early, staying late, and chasing down kids during lunch for tutoring.
I teach math after school on Tues and Thurs,
and math at a different school on Saturday.
**I am not trying to complain about the amount of work I have been doing. I truly love spending time with 11 year olds.**
BUT I have been doing SO MUCH for the kids, that today I noticed I have begun to resent them.

BAD TAYLOR.

Today I was snappy, and short with them. I caught myself tuning out their stories. Who am I? I love their stories! That is where I get all my entertainment.
but it got worse....today I cut them off while they were asking questions.
I was so annoyed with just the act of being questioned every 4.5 seconds that I not only cut them off....I severed their creativity. They were asking wonderful questions and were engaged and I dampered their eager minds.
Horrible.

3rd period is incredible. Even after I had blamed them for my problems, they cheered me up.
Dont worry. They know me so well that they VOLUNTARILY started to talk to me in British accents just because they knew I would bounce with glee.
Did I train them right or what?
Then after my math tutoring ended at 5pm I came back to my room to find this note taped to my door.

And then I remembered why I do so much for them. I cant give up even though I'm too tired to breathe. I do it for her. I do it for wolf. I do it for all of my 130 lovelies.

I also went and bought myself a cheeseburger for lunch. That also helped :)

Cheeseburger

So I have been beyond busy lately and havent had time to post anything about my non exciting workaholic life but I WILL say that I had a delicious cheeseburger tonight at funky hamburger joint in South Austin. It was scrumptious and the live music was a perfect addition to the night. GLORIOUS

BTW...la bet is off. La russian came to town a few weeks ago and we went to dinner together and broke the bet at the same time so I dont have to read Harry Potter. thank.goodness. I dont have time for wizzardry

So....I lied

I ate another cheeseburger....

but Jen MADE me. She said
"They are so good, people stand in line for them...and New Yorkers don't wait around for anything"

So of course I can't pass up a cheeseburger, especially one with such grand reviews.
We mosey-ed on over to Shake Shack and stood in line for maybe 30 minutes?? I lost track of time due to the full entertainment of people watching.

It was quite scrumptious I must say. And the reason I love it so much was the portion size. Little burger for a little girl :)
We all know that I can eat the Texas size monstrosities they pull down South but my waistline is also becoming Texas Size. Yikes!

Then we went to Central Park and played in the city. Pictures of that will come later.
But for now

Isn't she pretty?

NO MORE CHEESEBURGERS

Confession- I had ANOTHER cheeseburger last night. Blaire and George are moving so I went to have dinner with them before they leave for Waco. I didn't pick the place but of course I'm not going to refuse a cheeseburger.
I see it as a problem that I've had four in the past week. My trainer agrees with me.

So at least for a little while....NO MORE CHEESEBURGERS.

Also I am off to NYC today to play with my dearest friends and attend the wedding of a lifetime(we're talking fan-cy!)

I am bringing my new friend Diana along to play. Should be a GREAT time!

"Food that you will eat in heaven"

My beautiful friend Laurel and I set up her classroom today. She will be teaching Pre-K and has TONS of fun toys that I never get to have.

aaaaaaand she wants to show you something
{sorry its sideways}

what a talent we have here!

THEN we went to have cheeseburgers....naturally
Me: "what type of food do they serve there?"
Laurel: "food that you will eat in heaven"

There is 100% truth behind that.

Yes I cut mine in half like a 5 year old. I felt it necessary since I was wearing ruffles.

We dined at the monument cafe in Georgetown.
Deliciousness.

:::Murray Reunion:::

I traveled to small town America this past weekend to celebrate my grandmother's life. She passed last November but we decided to have her memorial service/GIANT family reunion on her birthday this past Saturday. It was way too much fun.

We are the cutest family ever.
We had MATCHING T-shirts (color coded for each side of the family)
AND we played games such as horseshoe/volleyball
AND we went swimming
AND we had a family talent show
AND we had fireworks
AND we cooked out......

...which means naturally
I would have TWO cheeseburgers
Yummmmm
am I bad?
